Have questions about unions and the union process? Find answers here.

The HR People Partners and others across Broad have been getting a lot of questions about the union organizing activity currently underway, so we’ve created a resource designed to help answer some of these questions.

Please visit inform.broadinstitute.org, where HR and Communications have collected the most common questions and are providing answers in a single spot.

We hope all Broadies — whether included in the potentially-impacted employee groups or not — will take a moment to review the information we’ve provided on the site.

Union organizing efforts are highly regulated, are protected under federal law, and deserve our respect and careful consideration.

Regardless of where this process takes us, we are proud to see so many Broadies asking great questions, including what it might mean for our culture and our workplace, and about what it could mean for each of us individually. We respect our employees’ decisions and want all Broadies to be informed.
