For all Broadies

  • Vaccine & booster: All Broadies must be vaccinated and boosted, and must upload proof of their vaccine(s) and booster to a secure portal managed by our partner, Color.
  • Masks: Beginning Monday, March 14, masks will no longer be required. Please keep in mind that many Broadies will choose to continue to mask for any number of reasons. 
    • Surgical masks and KN95 respirators will be available in the lobbies of the Merkin and Stanley Buildings as well as at 320 Charles and at the 105 Broadway BITStop.
  • Testing: Beginning Monday, March 14, test once per week.
  • Additional info:
    • Eating: Beginning Monday, March 14, Broadies will no longer need to distance when eating onsite. 
    • Food policy: Beginning Thursday, March 31, open, buffet-style food at onsite gatherings of any size will be permitted. 
    • Offsite gatherings: Beginning Monday, March 14, all offsite gatherings will be permitted.

Travel need-to-knows

  • Beginning Monday, March 14, international travel will no longer require pre-approval. Please continue to follow CDC guidelines whenever you travel, and, if you’re traveling internationally, please register your travel via International SOS as you typically would. MIT Medical and EHS work directly and confidentially with Broadies who receive a positive result to offer guidance around isolation, offer support, and organize contact tracing. Individuals considered “close contacts” of these individuals are asked to quarantine for a period.
